Outline

DAY 1:

The Conference facilities will be open for registration and preparation of mini-stands from February 7th at 0900 hours.

CenSec Annual Conference 2012 will commence at 1000 hours. Following the welcome remarks by Poul Arne Jensen, Chairman of the Board of Censec we will set the scene for the conference in plenum presentations on the Conference Aim; Innovation Opportunities; Defense Rules for Cooperation with Industry on R&D; and a joint presentation by the Danish Defence & Security Industries Association (FAD) and CenSec.

Following lunch we will split up in break-out sessions to explore opportunities within already existing innovative clusters (Railway, Space, Land Mobility and Helicopters) supplemented with presentations on CenSec qualification programs and on rules for trading with the Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO).

Later in the afternoon we will explore new opportunities in plenum sessions. The first presentation will be given by Deputy Defence Advisor Joseph Stein at the American delegation to NATO HQ in Brussels on Future Requirements for the US Forces both for expeditionary missions and for Homeland Defense. It will be followed by a presentation on Homeland Security requirements seen from a Danish perspective by Police Commissioner Thorkild Fogde. These presentations will lay the ground for two rounds of break-out sessions, where we dig deeper into potential opportunities, i.a. Homeland Security, Disastre Medicin and Mobile IT & Communications supplemented with more general presentations on market opportunities and trading rules.

Conference Dinner will commence at 1900 hours. Key note speaker during the Dinner is the American Ambassador to Denmark, Mrs. Laurie S. Fulton.

DAY 2:

Wednesday February 8th we will focus on new defense and defense related opportunities. We begin with two plenum sessions, where Brigade General Peter Kølby Pedersen, Deputy Danish Armament Director, and Colonel (Civil Protection) Ole Mæhlisen, Danish Emergency Management Agency will address future requirements within their respective fields of operation. The plenum presentations will be followed by two rounds of break-out sessions where we will explore some of the potential opportunities that have been addressed.

In all break-out sessions we have left slots for Company Presentations. Companies and in particular foreign companies are invited to make use of these slots for presentations of their requirements and for exploring the possibilities for cooperation with Danish companies and clusters.

As to presentation of off-set related requirements, this particular issue will be addressed at an FAD Industrial Conference scheduled for January 18th 2012, to which also CenSec members will be invited.

The conference will close with Anton Villadsens concluding remarks and lunch.

The general out-line of CenSec 2012 is addressed in more details in the Conference Program. Please note that the conference planning is on-going and changes may occur.
